This site is a demonstration of how the TickStream.KeyID algorithms work, so the requirements are different than an end-user implementation.
When deployed, the product is transparent and frictionless to the user, and the Profile is built silently and automatically as they normally login. However,
for this personal trial, you will enter your password a total of 40 times1 to simulate those logins that occur over time.
A set of visualizations will show your progress toward completion.
Here are some helpful tips:
- Choose an easily-remembered password or short phrase.
- Pick something you type frequently, that is easy to remember, and you are able to type consistently and without a lot of conscious thought (an address, email address or full name, for example).
- Special characters and numbers are fine, if you would like to use them, and a single non-alpha character is encouraged, so please add a number or some other character.
- The password or short phrase should be between 13-25 characters.
- Do not:
- use an actual password (the text is displayed in this demonstration)
- use NumLock or CapsLock keys
- use the autocomplete feature of your browser (Firefox, etc.)
- use consecutive characters ("asdf", "qwerty", etc.) or alternating characters ("mzmzmzmz")
- use profanity or any other words your grandmother wouldn't approve of
-
Why these rules? Again, this is a demonstration of how our algorithms recognize everyday finger muscle movement, so this is
not the platform for testing interesting theories about typing with your nose, etc. You don't test drive a car by seeing if it floats
on the water either, so please check your mad scientist tendencies at the door. If you want to conduct experiments, call us and we'll
add you to our development team.
-
Be yourself. Type easily, and at your normal speed.
Often, it takes less than 10 minutes, but don't rush it. If you take a break and come back to it later (after 30 minutes), you can click the Previous Build button to continue adding to a Profile.
Your information will not be shared with any third parties.
